Legit, Phibsborough

Menu/Dishes:

A variety of changing daily breakfast and brunch options as well as weekend brunch offerings.  Sean went for their iconic green eggs while I opted for a make-your-own style mixed breakfast.

Price Point:

Mains come in anywhere from €8-12 with lots of smaller nibbles on offer for less too. I’ve always felt that Legit has a very fair price point.

Atmosphere:

I loved the decor of the new Legit; Their first cafe on Meath Street was my fave local cafe when I lived in Dublin 8. It’s quite industrial and paired back. The atmosphere always felt lovely in D8 as the place was always packed with regulars and I don’t think it’ll be any different for their new Phibsborough location.

Service:

Super friendly and helpful team of staff here.

Why I Liked it Enough to Share:

There’s something really special about what Legit have going on; it has the makings of a standard grab-and-run cafe but the staff make the place feel so homely that you end up staying for way longer than planned. Plus, the food and coffee are always excellent.

Coffee catch up with a friend on a lazy afternoon.
